General Announcements: Calendars & Discounted Courses

We’re so excited to have put together a jam packed calendar for 2026 featuring numerous local dives, monthly club dives on every 3rd Saturday of the month (starting this February), guest speakers, local trips, raffles and welcoming back Chiara Neilson back for a six part zoom series (more to come on this).

In addition to our Annual Halloween Dive, we’ve added an Annual Pride dive led by Auntie Phuong and an Annual Catalina Island Trip organized by Auntie Karla. We have an exciting line up of guest speakers on various topics related to freediving & our waters.

New Year, new you! Have you been thinking about taking a certificaiton course? Apnea Collective's Brooke Kendzior & Dive Aunties are working hand-in-hand to promote safety, inclusivity, and affordability in our waters through discounted courses. Brooke has graciously agreed to donate a portion of her proceeds to our foundation, which will be 100% funding our scholarship. We're so excited for this collaboration as it uplifts individual instructors whom share our values of safety & inclusivity in freediving.

We’ve grown quickly to over 160 members in our community over the last three months. We have been fundraising through donations & affiliate sales to sponsor community members’ certification courses, and we’re more than half way there to sponsoring our first student! When you purchase using our code: DIVEAUNTIES at Spear America, Surf-fur, and Evolve, 100% proceeds go towards our scholarship & 0% to fluff.

Thank you to our volunteers who donated their time, which has helped shape our club into a very active & welcoming space! Look forward to meeting all the new friends that we have yet to meet, and welcoming back our active members to these events.
